This course is for students who have completed the 301 course. The course further expands on reading Guitar Tablature and Staff Notation introduced in the first course. Students are also introduced to advanced music theory. They will learn melodies using techniques they learn during the course

Practical (Pieces & Aural Skills)
  • Pieces from Trinity Acoustic Guitar Grade 6
Theory/Technical Focus
  • Technical work from Trinity Acoustic Guitar Grade 6

The Student would be able to:
1. Learn/Play a minimum of 3 pieces (across all courses for Grade 6)

2. Appear for the Trinity Practical Grade 6 Examination 

3. Able to demonstrate technical workings - playing scales and arpeggios
4. Able to sight read
5. Have knowledge of music theory
