This course is for singers who have already completed AE761 (Voice Gym). It is also for intermediate to advanced level singers and vocal performers who are looking to enhance their skills. This course centers around relaxed control of voice, leading to ease of performance with a high degree of flexibility.

Prepare the voice for powerful and flexible singing

Learn to sing in head voice
- Developed through octave practice using special syllables
Strengthen the already acquired head voice
- Upper Octave singing using head voice
Shift easily from head voice to chest voice and from chest to head voice
- Learn head-chest voice transitions on both ascent and descent
Generate vocal power
- Exercises for developing power and throw
Sing with mouth resonance
- Sing entire phrases and songs with mouth resonance
Learning vibrato
- Use of vibrato to enhance song delivery
Singing briga or murki
- As a device to embellish and enhance melodies
Singing gamakas or gamaks
- Employing gamakas in songs
Learn yodeling as a vocal technique
- How to jump between chest and head voices abruptly
Applying all techniques learned
- Demonstrate through appropriate songs
At the end of the course, the students will
