Advanced Prayag is a course designed for enhancing the presentational skills of students who are learning at advanced levels. This is a concert preparation course with insights into various aspects of presentation required to establish a connect with listeners. The student receives intensive training. The repertoire would include an Ata Tala Varnam, Madhyama Kaala, Vilamba Kala krithis, a different compositional form - either a Tillana or Javali, a devaranama and inclusive of Manodharama asepcts of Raaga Alaapna, Neraval and Kalpana swaras.

This is a space to bring out creative expressions through the performing art of Indian classical music in the best possible way. This is a platform that believes in constant evolution and growth. 12 weeks, one session of 45 minutes per week.
To learn five compositions; one composition may be a new composition created by the student
To work on improvisation of these compositions
To plan the structure of the concert for the duration of 1 hr 15 minutes
To learn about each composition, prepare write-ups
To practice towards the performance
To rehearse the lines to be spoken about the compositions
To work on Manodharma aspects for one composition in the concert format style
Student should have completed CV305 and the student needs to be nominated by the teacher.
